Description

As the Patient Account Manager, you will be responsible for creating financial care plans, billing and posting to insurance, while also maintaining an optimal and consistent cash flow through the collection of revenues owed to the company.

In addition, you will ensure a consistent and accurate stream of financial data by working with pre-authorization, insurance verifications, annd data entry using the clinics' billing software.

As a support person for both the clinical and admeinstative teams, we demand a high degree of professionalism from our Patient Account Manager.

We take pride in our cost transparency and we work with each patient's financial circumstance, so it is important for the Patient Account Manager to remain understanding and go above and beyond to find solutions on behalf of our patients.

• Creating and modifying financial care plans
• Posting all incoming payments
• Modifying payment plans and agreements based on necessity
• Generating and sending monthly statements
• Verifying insurance benefits
• Submitting billing to insurances companies
• Posting patient and insurance payments
• Dispute and follow up with insurance compaines on payments and record request
• Performing initial account setup within the EHR system
• Generate weekly/monthly reports and statements
• Ensure all patients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
• Answer any patient billing questions
• Adhere to laws and best practices in regard to dealing with patients and data
• Conducting insurance verification, reimbursement inquires, and preauthorization calls
• Handle records requests to substantiate billings

• High School diploma/GED (_required_)
• Experience in a Medical Office (_preferred_)
• Basic Understanding of Insurance _(preferred)_
