    Description

    LHH is partnering with our client in the East Los Angeles area in hiring a Director of Warehouse Operations.

    The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable being on-site 100% and bilingual - Spanish.

    Responsibilities

    • Track and manage inventory and shipping functions.
    • Enforce plant safety, following OSHA guidelines and the warehouse clean and safe
    • Manage warehouse staff, planning, monitoring and assessing team.
    • Leading, coaching and developing programs to support and develop employees.
    • Enforce GMP's and Food Safety rules.
    • Process oriencted - Be able to evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes.
    • Ensure items meet HACCP and QA program quality standards.
    • Lead a team of supervisors, coaching and mentoring growth of team members as well as scheduling and training warehouse personnel.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree, industry experience in lieu of degree accepted.

    5-10 years of warehouse management and logistics experience in the Food & Beverage Industry.

    Experience with perishables is a plus.

    Proficient in Implementation and use of WMS

    Bilingual Spanish
