    Description

    Title **Receiving/Warehouse - LA**

    Description TMB offers products and services to entertainment production and staging professionals, as well as architectural lighting specifiers and designers worldwide. With offices in Los Angeles, London, New York, Toronto, Beijing, and Riga, TMB sells and supports a wide range of leading brands, many of which are highly technical and proprietary.

    We are currently seeking a Receiving/Warehouse Associate to support all inbound operations for our LA warehouse. This includes unloading, inspecting, and recording delivered goods, reporting shortages, minor QC, and general warehouse maintenance and cleanliness.

    **Job duties includes but are not limited to the following:**

    Proactively track POs and monitor incoming of goods. Know in advance when they will arrive. Have such information at the ready.

    Lead safe unloading of trucks/goods, with assistance when needed.

    Receiving incoming goods into SBT

    Monitor general QC of Inbound goods (Tech QC by Tech). Immediately report all Quantity & Quality Issues to Inventory team. Monitor that discrepancies have been resolved by the responsible party.

    Ensure all goods are properly identified, labeled and in their correct physical location and SBT location.

    With assistance of Warehouse Ops, manage LA cycle counts & reconciliation. Increase volume of Cycle counts, including consignment inventory.

    Physically manage stock warehouse assignment locations.

    Tracking and monitor of Shop Supplies Inventory. Proactively manage Min/Max levels. Prompt a request to Order as needed/approved.

    Run end of day Receiving Report.

    Take precautions, be aware and report any potential loss indicators.

    Maintain Receiving digital files/archive.

    Maintain department safety including but not limited to stacking, lifting, forklift and pallet jacks.

    Back up to Shipping, when possible.

    Position Requirements **Qualifications and Education Requirements:**

    2+ years in Receiving/Warehouse experience. Understanding of Operations processes and dynamics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    **Physical Requirements:**

    Frequent standing, walking, reaching. Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch. Ability to exert 30-60 lbs. of force occasionally, 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

    **Preferred Skills:**

    Forklift experience. Basic QC experience. Experience within the A/V industry.

    **Schedule:**

    8 hours per day, M-F, with occasional overtime and/or weekends as needed.
