Overview

In anticipation of a contract award, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant II will provide support services to the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) Division of Technical Resources (DTR), Office of Research Facilities.

Work will include tasks such as maintenance of timekeeping records; planning and coordinating travel vouchers; maintaining and organizing file systems; preparing reports and letters; helping prepare presentations for meetings; analyzing spreadsheet data; documenting meeting minutes; and creating standard operating procedures.


Location:
This position is expected to be on-site in Bethesda, MD. There may be an opportunity for a hybrid schedule. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA. Unlock the perfect balance of remote flexibility and collaborative office culture


Required Qualifications:


  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain public trust clearance
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a Level II Administrative Assistant.
  • Federal timekeeping experience required; experience using ITAS (Integrated Time and Attendance System) required.
  • Experience using the Concur Government Edition (CGE) Travel System required.
  • Knowledge of travel planning, logistics, coordination, and travel voucher processing required.

Desired qualifications:


  • Possess an Associate Degree in a related discipline.
  • Fluent in American English and have an expert ability to navigate work environments of rulebased cultures (such as the USA and Canada).
  • Experience using online collaborative tools such as Box, SharePoint, WebEx, and MS Teams.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and allocation of resources based on program priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written, with an emphasis on professional courtesy & customerservice.
  • Familiarity with Federal HR Practices & Policies. Ability to gain familiarity with NIH HR Practices & Policies.
  • Ability to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
