QualificationsMinimum Required EducationApplicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Emergency Management, Education, Administration, Paralegal Studies or a related field from an accredited university or college.

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit annual crime statistic reports to the Department of Education as required. Maintain the Department of Public Safety website.

Reviews all police department incident reports, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) records, Campus Safety Authority (CSA) reports, and other sources of crime data for reportable Clery crimes.

Stays abreast of changes to the Clery Act and other laws and regulations affecting Clay provisions.
Works with various institutional stakeholders on Clery Act requirements.
Coordinate and/or conducts training for faculty, staff, and student body.
Communicate effectively through oral and written mediums.
Compose, edit, proofread, and format various correspondence, reports, and other written materials.
Evaluate research to identify potential solutions, strategize addressing problems, and provide information.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and appropriate documentation.
Prioritize work and demonstrate excellent organization skills.
Performs other duties as assigned.
