Raye IT Consulting, LLC is a 8a certified minority woman-owned IT consulting and technology firm.

Raye IT brings over 20 years experience in delivering mission-critical programs and support for the Federal Government and large agencies.

We specialize in program and project management, capital planning and IT investment portfolio management, infrastructure support and application development deployment to include IT operations and maintenance.

We deliver value through technical and managerial expertise – innovation, efficient processes, executable strategies, and methodologies that generate tangible and measurable results to our clients across the Federal, Civilian and DoD sectors.

Network Engineer SMEs to help lead the design, implementation, integration, operation, optimization, and maintenance of network solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background and hands-on experience in all aspects of networking engineering, including network security.

Responsibilities
Work as part of a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-discipline team in support of U.S. Government and provide technical subject matter expertise in the field of network engineering.
Defines opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background and hands-on experience in all aspects of networking engineering, including network security.

Provide expert analysis and advice on business matters and IT solutions, to program officials and managers.
Maintain computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware.
Install and configure network equipment.
Create firewalls and update virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected.
Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for all systems.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues.
Implement disaster recovery procedures.
Maintain current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices.
Offer the best solutions and protection for company systems.
Qualifications
10+ Years of experience or relevant and transferrable skills preferred.
Hands on experience with Fortinet.
Proven expertise designing and supporting SD-WAN services in an enterprise environment.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
Experience partnering with senior-level client stakeholders, providing technical thought leadership, and bringing innovation to achieve business needs.
Experience in DevOps and related disciplines highly desired.
Working knowledge of Zero trust practices.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
