An established year-round grower, packer, shipper, and marketer of fresh fruit is seeking an experienced Category Manager to join their team.

They are a multifaceted produce company that is customer and grower-oriented and their product offerings are of both domestic and international origin.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, managing the procurement process to ensure a steady supply of high-quality product, and provide guiding to the Sales Team initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand sales reach.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and suppliers.
Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of product.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales and procurement strategies.
Analyze sales and procurement data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
Collaborate with internal teams, including production, marketing, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership and guidance to the sales and procurement team to drive results and achieve goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in sales and procurement roles in the fresh fruit industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of the industry and market trends.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Famous Software.
Leadership and team management skills.
