    Shift:
    This role is 4th Shift, 6:00 PM-6:30 AM

    Hourly Rate:
    $22.70 an hour + $3.00 shift differentialThe Operations Support (OP3) safely conducts activities related to safety, quality, food manufacturing production processes and overall plant operations; to ensure finished product meets food safety and quality requirements.

    Tasks performed in this role could include:
    Quality AssuranceSanitationMaterials DeliveryAssist warehouseContinuous ImprovementTrain organization and monitoringRework and RecyclingOutside of these responsibilities the Operations Support Specialist will support breaks within the following duties:PoppingPackaging


    PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Safety:

    Adhere to all safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environmentNotify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discoveredQuality:Perform all the required quality checks, verifications, readings, tests, audits and other daily, weekly and monthly Q.A.

    related tasks in compliance of HACCP and SQF plans along with Q.A.

    and production programsMaintain and demonstrate a thoughtful understanding of processing specifications for varying productsAssess and report quality related trends, concerns and requests to the Q.A.

    ManagerResolve concerns identified under Quality Assurance ProgramsDemonstrate an understanding of electronic inventory tracking system (InnaTrack)

    Order and receive materialsPerform safety and quality checksProduction:
    Provide break relief support to line operatorsSafely operate fork truck to load and unload cartages, pick up, transport and stack palletsOperate multiple electric kettles, simultaneouslyRemove popped corn from kettles and dispense into binsPerform reworkDeliver raw ingredients to line popping stations promptlyAssemble corrugate items into cases or displays, package bags and palletize finished product to match specificationOperate pallet jack and electric pallet wrapperFix minor issues with packaging equipmentComplete finished goods in InnaTrackLabel finished goods with accuracyAssist or lead continuous improvement projectsFill in on other shifts and work Saturday on occasion


    SANITATION:
    Perform daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and housekeeping tasks together with Master Sanitation ScheduleMaintain Master Sanitation Schedule and inventory usage logsEnsure sanitation responsibilities are completed per department standardsPerform sanitation tasks to clean and sanitize all production equipment


    PERSONAL SKILLS:
    Maintain a commitment to teamwork and concern for othersMust be respectful of others and demonstrate professional work habitsReliable and able to work within a teamTrain, assist and lead employees (new and current) for development in required operational skillsAdhere to all Angie's Artisan Treats procedures


    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four year College or university; or one to two years related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Language Skills:
    Will use the English language, in verbal and written forminterpret work instructions and safety rules using EnglishAnalyze common internal reports and supporting documentsRespond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business communityFloor staff and plant management

    Mathematical Skills:
    Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometryApply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations

    Reason Ability:
    Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsInterpret an variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

    Computer Skills:
    Develop basic excel and word spreadsheets along with basic PowerPoint presentations
