    This role is part of the Supply Chain team for our Entertainment Business.

    Align with demand plan and/or factory requirements to procure components, while optimizing purchasing and on hand component inventory. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions on delivery reliability of suppliers, GSRS, lead times (including reduction), order (re-)confirmations, to improve component availability. Actively improve component inventory, by regularly updating/analyzing component stocking strategy.

    Responsibilities:

    Source new components and tooling required to support new product introductions. Ensure supply chain performs according to plan, with respect to all new product introductions.

    Negotiate with Suppliers to insure industry best service, price and payment terms. As required, work with corporate commodity purchasing teams to execute global purchasing strategies.

    Implement strategies that with supplier contacts in purchasing and fulfillment.

    Develop and implement strategies that enhance supplier relationships, improve the supply chain through supplier managed inventory and programs to drive down investment in inventory and reduce customer order fulfillment cycle time.

    Evaluate supplier performance, based on knowledge of deliveries, service and quality of acquired product.

    Manage purchased component and raw material inventory levels and the redeployment of such material according to customer demand and company objectives; plan, review, and manage inventory levels within company goals.

    Identify dysfunctional, inactive, and obsolete items and take appropriate action to discontinue and dispose of inventory.

    Timely resolution of Supplier non-conforming delivery, quality, and invoicing issues.

    Provide analysis and reporting needed to initiate action and/or response to the changing needs of customer products, inventory exposure associated with demand changes and/or customer impacts of capacity or product constraints.

    Analyze MRP driven actions ensuring economic flows of direct customer requirements. Responsible for the management of component safety stock and/or order point calculations.

    ****You are****

    A college graduate with a Bachelors degree in related area and purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment

    Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly, as it relates to purchasing

    Successful in influencing optimum price/quality level of the goods and services purchased

    Experience in calculating optimal inventory levels; solid understanding of calculation and planning methods (calculates order requirements in terms of supply provision, short/long term flexibility, delivery times, order magnitude, order terms etc.)

    Proven experience in initiating & implementing improvement projects, taking into account the processes of suppliers

    Understanding of technical aspects of goods to be purchased and technical requirements

    Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)

    Strong MRP systems experience; SAP highly desirable

    Exceptional time management & analytical skills
