    Description

    **Buyer**

    **Location:** Dallas, US, 75247 **Position Overview**

    The Buyer procures hardware, software, supplies and services for the company following established and approved procurement policies and procedures while maintaining good vendor relations.

    **Duties/Responsibilities**

    Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.

    Responsible for the procurement of materials, services and supplies. Follows up with vendors to confirm orders and make necessary changes.

    Responds to internal inquiries regarding purchasing procedures for providing information, direction and/or referral for addressing inquiry.

    Work with vendors/ISRs as needed to process revisions.

    Processes Internal purchases following company policy.

    Processes Resource requests following contractor process.

    Manage purchasing alias/individual emails.

    Responsible for entering RMAs and following up with ISRs to confirm the receipt of product.

    Works with the department manager to develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Procurement practice.

    Participates in weekly team/internal meetings.

    Participates in creating document and presenting at annual ISR conference.

    Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Backs-up the Purchasing Manager as needed.

    **Education & Experience Required**

    Legally eligible to work in the United States.

    Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred.

    3 years of technology purchasing required.

    **Skills & Competencies**

    Requires a degree of technical knowledge.

    Requires the use of initiative and independent judgment.

    Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while demonstrating teamwork and great communication.

    Highly detail-oriented.

    Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization.

    Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, or other ERP/CRM systems.

    Able to work with minimal supervision.
