    Job Overview:
    Transak seeks a Risk and Compliance Operations director for our fiat on/off-ramp integration for apps.

    This role involves a technical/data-driven approach to building systems, products, and features to ensure compliance with financial regulations, mitigating risks such as fraud and chargebacks, and maintaining high ethical standards.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement transaction monitoring systems for crypto transactions and various payment methods.
    Engage and negotiate with external vendors and technology providers for compliance and reporting requirements.
    Integrate KYC, KYB, fraud detection, and chargeback management into our platform.
    Write product specifications and collaborate with the engineering team to automate and productize risk and compliance solutions.

    Develop compliance and risk management information systems to ensure smooth reporting on key performance indicators and key risk indicators to senior management.

    Analyze on-chain and off-chain transactions to identify and mitigate fraud and money laundering risks.
    Stay up-to-date with trends and regulations in crypto and financial sectors.
    Manage product performance to meet customer adoption and revenue targets.
    Work cross-functionally with compliance, legal, technology, and business teams.


    Qualifications:
    At least 8 years of experience in crypto transactions, payments, and/or risk management.
    Knowledge of transaction monitoring, KYC, KYB, fraud detection, and chargebacks.
    Technical ability to translate compliance requirements into automated solutions.
    Experience with B2B SaaS/payments and compliance in financial services.
    Proficiency with collaboration and agile tools like Linear, Rally, JIRA, Confluence (we use Linear).
    Excellent written, verbal, and social skills.
    Technical product management experience, preferably in a fast-paced online environment.
