OBJECTIVE
Marrick is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to lead our transition to a serverless architecture within AWS. This
role involves collaboration with software teams and business units to support and optimize our cloud
infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working independently and taking
initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with software engineers and business teams to enhance our technology strategy and

manage our AWS cloud environment

Drive the transition to a serverless architecture, adept in core AWS services including EC2, S3,

IAM, Fargate, and API Gateways

Build modern CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment in a serverless environment.
Improve monitoring, logging, and observability in AWS workflows
Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, configurations, and operating

procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
At least 3 years of experience managing AWS infrastructure with a focus on serverless

technologies and comfortable working with load balancers and server infrastructure

Strong knowledge of container services such as ECS and Docker
Working knowledge of Linux scripting, Python, and automation
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as JIRA, Git, and Confluence

REQUIREMENTS

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex production systems
In-depth knowledge of security best practices and tools, with the ability to design and implement

secure systems

Proficiency in advanced monitoring and logging techniques
Experience with network and system administration, including troubleshooting and performance

optimization
