    Description

    Join our team as an MRI Technologist at HOLSTON VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER!

    • Job Title: MRI Technologist
    • Location: Kingsport, TN
    • Full-time Position: 72 hrs or more per pay period
    • Work Schedule: Weekends

    Job Description Scope:

    • Prepare patients for MRI imaging studies from adolescent to geriatrics
    • Operate MRI scanner and computer to produce diagnostic images
    • Inject IV contrast under radiologist direction
    • Provide age-specific care based on patient's needs

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Communicate effectively with patients
    • Ensure legible written communication
    • Handle patient information with confidentiality

    Education and Experience:

    • Associate of Science degree in Radiology Technology
    • Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program recognized by the American College of Radiology
    • ARRT registered
    • Advanced MRI certification preferred
    • BLS certification required

    Certification Requirement: Technicians hired after 1/1/2017 must obtain MRI registry within 12 months of hire.
