    Description
    This is 12 month contract with hire role with CHS. 100% remote. USC/GC/GC-EAD. Salary is up to 100K. Must have LI. The monitoring role is to help the team as we evaluate monitoring solutions with the movement to the cloud.

    They are looking for someone with SolarWinds experience to administer the monitoring on a day-to-day basis, must have configuration experience.

    AWS is really required. Our Minneapolis area client is looking for a contract to hire Business Systems Analyst (Monitoring). The specialist will use SolarWinds-Orion to monitor hardware and applications. In addition, you will engage with applications development and technical teams to meet monitoring requirements for ongoing computer operations. The company has a great work culture so excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be needed. The contract is expected to be 6 months with the expectation of contract to hire. What Will You Do?

    • Ensure operations flow smoothly and job documentation (including failure escalation) is well documented and up to date.
    • Set up monitoring of hardware and applications within SolarWinds-Orion
    • Provide guidance and information to computer operations for successful business process flow.
    • Examine production changes for completeness and manage the change flow according to documentation.
    • Provide ongoing reporting to ensure management notification of changes and exceptions.
    • Recommend improvements to processing to eliminate bottlenecks.
    • Follow up on changes and incidents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
    • Support ongoing operations systems by acting as point of contact for monitoring, executing resolution according to process and communicating cross functionally to elicit resolution of disruptions and exceptions to process.
    • Provide input for enhancements and improvements, recommendations on streamlining processes and identify and improve scheduling workflows and dependencies. What Experience Should You Have?
    • More than 2 years of IT experience to include: o Experience in SolarWinds-Orion (must have configured and administered with the tool) preferably in an AWS environment o Experience analyzing business requirements o Ability to manage and carry out complex production change processes, projects and programs o ITIL certification (nice to have)
