- Lead and manage the revenue recognition process in accordance with ASC 606.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand new business initiatives and their impact on revenue recognition.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue-related journal entries, supporting schedules, and financial statements.
- Provide insights into revenue trends, analysis, and variances.
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and assist in addressing audit inquiries related to revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with financial systems data teams, product support, and engineering to enhance accuracy and completeness of transactional reporting for the order to cash process.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of revenue accounting.
- Work closely with order management, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions.
- Collaborate with other finance teams to drive seamless integration between revenue and other financial processes such as inventory, shipping services, indirect taxes, and other operating expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue, inventory, and general accounting, with a significant portion in public accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to various stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven leadership experience in managing a team.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Public accounting experience; Big Four experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Previous experience with inventory operations and accounting in the retail or e-commerce industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with revenue automation tools such as RevPro, Zuora, Leapfin, or other similar platforms streamlining the revenue accounting processes and enhancing efficiencies.
- Proven experience working with high growth companies in a fast paced environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Technical Accounting to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition processes. The expected salary range for this role is $134,558.00 - $161,874.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
