Your tasks:


  • In times of climate change, it is not only important for society, but also for the industry to focus on the topic of "sustainability". One main focus is on energy consumption. In the field of mechanical engineering, this includes the electricity, compressed air, or vacuum consumption of the machines. In order to systematically document the sustainability of new and existing SOMIC machines, this project will focus on the systematic construction of a combined measuring unit.
The following tasks will be involved in the creation of the project:


  • Analysis of the key values to be examined
  • Determination of measurement methods for the different consumption values
  • Selection and procurement of measurement equipment
  • Construction and use of a test stand with measuring tools and HMI
  • Documentation on the operation and construction of the test stand

Your profile:


  • Student (m/f/d) in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
