    Key Qualifications

    • Responsible for efficiently running the financial aspects of the healthcare facility. This includes monitoring budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure financial stability.
    • Contribute to the training and development of medical staff. Work to enhance the skills and knowledge of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Ensure that the medical staff and facility comply with federal rules, regulations, and codes. This includes staying up-to-date with healthcare laws and implementing them in daily practices.
    • Fosters a healthy relationship between nurses, physicians, and relevant medical departments by effective communication and collaboration for patient care.
    • Assess the coordination and teamwork within the medical team to ensure the institution's success.
    • Ensures that all necessary licenses are up to date to prevent any legal issues and ensures the continuity of services to the clients.
    Description

    We are seeking a committed and dedicated Director of Medical Providers to ensure the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. In collaboration with administrators and nursing supervisors, you will strive to achieve goals that prioritize high-quality patient care. In this role you will play a vital role in implementing and adhering to laws and regulations within the facility. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring the budgets of all medical staff to ensure compliance and finding innovative strategies to enhance communication between department, organization, and clients, facilitating streamlined processes. In this position, you will work closely with the medical team, overseeing all processes to guarantee that our patients receive optimal care. Your commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our facility and the well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Education & Experience
    • Proven work experience as a Medical Director or similar role
    • A license and certification to practice medicine preferred.
    • Five or more years' experience in hospital administration
    • A Medical degree and board certification in family medicine, emergency care or occupational health preferred.
    • Two years of drug and alcohol program management experience with duties similar to those described herein.
    • Two years of experience in MAT and withdrawal management procedures.
    • Specific skills and experience required include program and policy development, contract management, program licensing and certification, and a working knowledge applicable to industry laws and regulations.
    • Practical understanding of the various financial supports available to the field.
    • Driving is required to attend required training courses, meetings or to fulfill other responsibilities defined in this role.
    Pay & Benefits

    At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,000 and $175,000 annually and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.
