Job Responsibilities:
1. Deliver pharmaceutical care with a strong emphasis on appropriateness, safety, and ensuring cost-effective drug therapy for patients.
2.
Actively participate in and lead quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of medication use throughout the medical center.
3.Dedicate up to 50% of your time to fulfilling staff pharmacist duties, ensuring seamless operations and support within the pharmacy.
4.Apply and embody our Core Values, fostering Collaboration, advocating for Justice, exercising Stewardship, and striving for Excellence in all facets of your role.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication regimens and outcomes for patients under your care.6. Provide comprehensive counseling and education to patients, nursing facility staff, and physicians on medication use, promoting understanding and adherence.

Contribute actively to the development and implementation of effective communication strategies to enhance cooperative efforts within the pharmacy and with external stakeholders.

Demonstrate leadership in troubleshooting and resolving challenges related to prescription order accuracy, prescription fulfillment, and overall pharmacy performance.
