A very sweet Teaneck, NJ family is seeking a nanny to care for their children and help in their home.

Location:
Teaneck, NJ


Schedule:
Monday - Friday 11 am - 7 pm or 12 noon - 8 pm


Children:3 months, 3 years and 6 years old


Salary:
$26-$30/hour, depending on skills and experience

This family with three young children is in need of support during the later morning into evening hours, since the father travels quite often for work, leaving mom alone to handle the afternoon and bedtimes.

Mom is an accountant but not working at the moment, and may return to working in the Fall, but would work from home.

There will be light housekeeping expected when the baby is sleeping and the older two children are at school.


Responsibilities:


  • Care for the infant (3 months) baby, including diapering, feeding, engaging the baby in stimulating play and keeping the baby on a good sleep schedule
  • Driving the 3 year old and 6 year old to and from their nearby school each day.
  • Engage the 3 year old and 6 year old in developmentally appropriate activities during the after school hours.
  • Assist the parents with dinner and bedtime as needed be an "extra set of hands", since Dad is often traveling and mom is home alone managing bath and bedtime.

Requirements:


  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of child development
  • Excellent references
  • Conversational English

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
