Tasks and Process

As a machining mechanic, you plan and process components for our products. To manufacture them, you create programs for CNC-controlled machine tools, then document and monitor the process. After completion of the components, you perform quality controls and coordinate with other departments and customers if necessary. During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything you need for your profession. With the production of workpieces, you will get to know interesting processes such as turning, milling or grinding.

Requirements and duration of training

For the apprenticeship, you need at least the qualifying certificate of the Mittelschule, also known as "Quali". The regular training period is 3.5 years. If you have the necessary aptitude, we offer you the additional qualification of electrical engineering-industry.
