- Design, test, and validate new automation equipment and processes in collaboration with a diverse engineering team.
- Generate and sustain Verification/Validation protocols and related technical documents to support process transfer into production.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess design and processes during the concept phase and define manufacturing procedures.
- Develop new or enhanced automation for components and assemblies using theoretical and practical engineering.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
The essential requirements of the job include:
BS in Mechanical, Biomedical Devices, Plastics Engineering (or related field) with 2 years of experience in the medical device industry OR MS in Mechanical, Biomedical Devices, Plastics Engineering (or related field) with 0-2 years of experience in the medical device industry
Working knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and standards
Strong background in mechanical design in automation
Proficiency in 3D CAD design (Solidworks)
Qualifying experience in automation equipment
Prior experience in biomedical device assembly mechanical design
Prior experience with ultrasonic welding plastics
Quality Management System experience
