    Description

    Technical Sales (Drug Metabolism)

    Washington D.C.

    An excellent opportunity for a young scientific sales professional looking to advance their career in technical sales Representing an internationally renowned scientific instrumentation and software company, you will be tasked with promoting cutting-edge products used in the pharma sector.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Promote and ultimately sell a range of scientific instrumentation and software used in pharma, agrochemical, and CROs
    • Build relationships with customers throughout the country, identifying their pain points and providing the best solution possible
    • Travel throughout the East Coast and beyond to customer sites and conferences as required

    Candidate Qualifications

    • Minimum of a BS in a scientific discipline, ideally with some exposure to analytical sciences (Drug Metabolism and HPLC experience a plus)
    • Previous technical sales experience within relevant areas and a confident personality
    • Ability to travel ~50% throughout the US

    Salary:

    • Salary (depending on experience) around $60K – $80K, + commission $40-80K at plan
    • Monthly Car Allowance
    • Healthcare and 401k with match
