    Your Role as Director of Business Intelligence:

    As Director of Business Intelligence, you'll steer the strategic course for our BI function, embedding BI deeply into our strategic framework. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in melding business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting, catering to both our in-house team's and external stakeholders' needs. Your mission will be to harness technology to condense, distribute, and interrogate information, thus fueling strategic decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Forge strong connections with C-suite executives to unearth business needs and tailor BI solutions that respond adeptly.
    • Spearhead projects from inception to completion, focusing on the creation and implementation of paramount business intelligence metrics.
    • Lead and inspire team of BI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Establish governance and champion best practices across all BI processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Communicate complex data insights compellingly to executive leadership and key stakeholders, driving forward data analysis and visualization innovation.
    • Build and maintain robust relationships across business units to closely align BI initiatives with overarching company objectives.

    We're Looking for Someone With:

    • A proven track record in leading and mentoring BI teams towards achieving ambitious goals.
    • Exceptional skills in data analysis, interpretation, and the ability to drive business strategy through data-driven insights.
    • Strong project management skills, with an aptitude for leading end-to-end project delivery.
    • A proactive approach to identifying business challenges and opportunities, with a knack for strategic problem-solving.
    • Solid experience in developing, measuring, and reporting on KPIs for major company initiatives.
    • The ability to work seamlessly across various teams, ensuring the alignment of BI activities with business needs.

    Requirements:

    • High degree of comfort working with C-level stakeholders;
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience;
    • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment;
    • Must pass any and all required background checks;
    • Ability to work independently, multitask, and drive your own project;
    • Experience building statistical models and running experiments;
    • Experience performing analysis with large datasets;
    • Develop support documentation and training for system users and administrators.
