We are proud to operate a full-scale Starbucks within our hotel and currently have a need for a Store Manager. This critical role leads a team of store associates and maintains the Starbucks Experience for our customers and partners. The Store Manager is required to regularly and customarily exercise discretion in managing the overall operation of the store. The Store Manager spends the majority of his/her time supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions (e.g. hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, etc.), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the stores financial performance, and managing safety and security within the store.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
Develops positive relationships with the Starbucks team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.
Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned. Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to partners on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve associate performance.
Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a custom er comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
Follows up with shift leads baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service for all customers.
Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Must be able to remain upright continuously on a hard surface for an 8-10 hour shift.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without the aid of another person.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
3 years of retail experience preferred.
2 years of service industry experience required.
Starbucks experience highly desired.
Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid problem-solving skills.
Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
Strong business acumen, track record of achieving business performance expectations.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. .
Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levels are achieved at all times.
Ability to deliver an exceptional customer service experience.
Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously.
Ability to manage store operations with some level of autonomy.
Exceptional training skills.
Ability to successfully implement new programs and changes.
Inventory management experience.
