    Description

    The Accounts Payable Specialist is part of a specialized team of professionals who support the AP function for a collection of long-term care facilities across the United States.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing employee expense reports and invoices for numerous business lines
  • Reconciling EDI accounts
  • Submitting the department payroll
  • Researching vendor balances and statements
  • Determining how returned checks are to be processed
  • Sending monthly emails to facilities regarding month end close deadlines
  • Handling numerous pay requests from internal departments
  • Assisting others when needed
    • You might be a great fit if you:
  • Have at least 5 years AP experience
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • Are detail oriented
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Possess good customer service skills
  • Have the ability to work effectively with various levels of personnel
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess good organizational skills
  • Have a good work ethic
  • Have the ability to work independently
  • Possess good leadership skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple tasks
    • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years AP experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Prefer PeopleSoft Financials experience
  • Computer experience such as Peoplesoft, Excel, Word, and web proficient
  • Must have reliable transportation
