I built, controlled and managed the analytical R&D lab and all scientific experiments at Precision Extraction Solutions (PES) in Troy MI. For over 8 years, I preformed extraction/purification/isolation research and development for PES. I worked my way to a Director position over that time. I understand these processes well enough to use them on all natural compounds, therefore, all non cannabis related projects and sales at PES were managed and controlled exclusively by me and my team.

Agrify bought PES, Pure Pressure, Cascade and Lab Society a few years ago. It was my responsibility to understand the entirety of Agrify, each of these companies became my responsibility to completely understand. I was also integral to the transition and integration of these different companies into a single building. I can safely say, without hesitance, that I completely understand every process and piece of equipment used with cannabis. I'm an expert at both solvent (hydrocarbon and ethanol) and solventless (water) extraction and postprocessing.

My position at Agrify required me to do anything and everything that was needed. I had to create new SOPs, update old SOPs, fix/evaluate/refurb equipment, teach Agrify technicians, travel around the country for onsite customer trainings and installs, learn/find/evaluate new techniques and equipment before offering them to our customers, perform analytical cannabis testing (HPLC, FTIR, UV-VIS, GCMS), root cause analysis (onsite and off), setting up experiments and the evaluation of results, technical sales and equipment sales, customer support, technical support, supply chain support, sourcing of equipment, vendor communications, new vendor set up, project management, laboratory management, compliance and safety management, inventory management, chemical waste disposal, scaling up of processes from the bench, and quality control of current products/equipment (includes writing reports concerning quality and ease of use of new equipment/products as well as overseeing pressure testing of extraction equipment). I did everything I could get my hands on while working for Agrify and I did it all with a smile. No position or responsibility is out of my reach.

Agrify was recently purchased by GTI. Immediately after the acquisition, GTI eliminated all R&D work, the laboratory, my position and myself. R&D is not needed when the plan is to close the business. I would have stayed at Agrify forever but now I am a free agent!
