About Teresa Fitzgerald:

I am a Google Cloud Professional Architect,  AWS Certified Associate Solution Architect, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and a Certified Google Cloud Associate Engineer.  I am passionate about cloud technologies,  Java, and Big data.

Experience

I am a Google Cloud Professional Architect,  AWS Certified Associate Solution Architect, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and a Certified Google Cloud Associate Engineer.  I am passionate about cloud technologies,  Java, and Big data.
In my current job, I have worked with AWS Kafka, Java, Blackduck, and Fortify.

In my previous job as a full-stack software engineer at Revature, I learned to integrate cloud technologies and create applications using Java, Springboot, Angular, AWS, Kafka, technologies as well as microservices.

As an AWS Cloud Architect, I have created Architecture from Scratch using diverse AWS technologies such as CloudFront, VPC, Route 53, API Gateway, and more.   Created pipelines using Jenkins, CodeCommit, Liquibase, CodDeploy, and AWS pipelines. Created Athena and used Glue as the ETL process. Setup autoscaling, load balancer as well as cloud security in ec2 and s3. Used Cognito security for AWS API gateway. I created a test and development environment for the application as well as for the database.

I have been involved with enterprise networking, data solutions, Software Development,  cloud technologies, and business intelligence for the majority of my career. I'm passionate about the transformation cloud technologies are having on all industries.  

As an IT Administrator for a government organization, I administered a network consisting of over 500 computers while maintaining an employer’s intranet, troubleshooting and supporting Cisco routers and switches, architecting a Video Evidence Tracking system, and implementing automation systems for the Westfield District Court’s Summons Process.

As a SQL Developer for Kaman's KDGB Distribution Division, I handled the migration of over 5,000,000 rows of data to SQL Server 2012, and mapped over 5,000 fields from a legacy ERP system to SQL Server 2014/2016, while writing and maintaining complex queries, functions, and stored procedures.

Education

I have a B.S in Computer Information Systems from WSU, graduated in 2001.

I also have 5 certifications, 3 in AWS and 2 in Google cloud.
