Experience

  • Manage center staff; organize clinic flow; maximize the number of families being served; address client complaints and concerns; assure the collection of accurate data; and establish and maintain mutually supportive relationships with other community-based services organizations and local physician practices. 
  • Oversee 8 WIC staff at assigned center and help assist any other 7 centers if manager is off duty. 
  • Maintain and improve total enrolled 1,930 participants’ caseload by creating reports to send appointment reminder text messages and call no-shows. 
  • Responsible for carrying out the mission of the program and for the overall day-to-day administration of all operations within WIC Center.
  • Inform and train WIC center staff of new State or Agency procedures, policies and requirements. 
  • Oversee center operations including plant malfunctions, lack of service, or poor quality of service in conjunction with WIC Central Office. 
  • Support and promote Participant Centered Nutrition Services (PCNS). 
  • Run Monthly staff meetings and trainings.
  • Provide training and coaching for issues that require immediate intervention and create action corrective plans. 
  • Conduct regular staff performance evaluation quarterly. 
  • Maintain the relationships with landlords and cleaning services. 
  • Assist with storage room inventory: packing, unpacking, checking, sorting, inventory, creating lists of supplies needed, storying of supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Develop and maintain inventory database, assist WIC staff in the purging and elimination of files destined for storage. 
  • Keep WIC State manual and Local Agency manual up to date along with binders for forms and logs needed for daily services.
