Jewel Parrel

I graduated from Shadow Creek Highschool Cum Laude, and in those years have qualified for State competitions in HOSA as well as volunteering in the Memorial Hermann Children‘s Hospital. I am passionate about pursuing a career in the medical career in the future and plan to attend college this fall. It is also worth mentioning that I have a Global Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and studied abroad in Spain for one month in 2022.

In 2023, I completed over 70 hours of volunteer service at the Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital where I worked in the Enteral Center, playrooms, as well as a healing notes musician. This past fall I founded Music as Medicine at my high school in which we focused on gifting music to communities that would benefit. I also served as an officer on various honor societies in highschool such as national science honor society as well as spanish honor society. 

I graduated from Shadow Creek High School in 2024 and graduated Cum Laude. I was also a part of the Top 20 of my class, and will be attending college this fall.
