I have worked various jobs over the years that involved diverse backgrounds of childcare. As a daycare worker, I provided a nurturing environment for young children, focusing on their social, emotional, and developmental needs. Another role as a camp counselor allowed me to engage with kids in an outdoor setting, fostering teamwork and personal development through fun activities and challenges. In positions as an afterschool paraprofessional, substitute associate, and paraprofessional, I supported students in their academic pursuits while helping to facilitate a safe and inclusive environment. Most recently, my student teaching opportunity provided hands-on classroom experience, allowing me to apply my educational knowledge and develop effective teaching strategies. Collectively, these roles have equipped me with valuable skills in communication, leadership, and child development, preparing me for a future in education.
