Sophia Acio

I am a 1st-year college student majoring in Biological Sciences for Medicine. I am fond of art and sometimes reading during my downtime. I am Filipino and I came to Alaska in 2018. I am looking for a job to help me improve my interaction skills so I can independently support myself, school-wise and for personal needs. 

I have worked at two different branches of McDonald's. I worked at the first branch in Lake Otis for 1 month because it was only for experience and I had to prioritize my education during that time. My second time working at McDonald's I worked for almost 5 months. I served customers, took their orders, cleaned our stations and environment, especially for guests, prepare and make food/drinks/desserts, cash register, stocked supplies, multitasked, had to work under pressure, problem-solve, and communicate a lot with my team.

I just graduated high school last year Summa Cum Laude and I am currently attending UAA as a first-year student. I am working on getting my Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences to eventually go to medical school.
