Sarah Duncan

I am excited to begin my career as an advanced practice registered nurse, having recently graduated from McNeese State University with a Master of Science in Nursing degree. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. My rigorous academic training, combined with hands-on clinical experience during my practicums, has given me a strong foundation for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I am excited to use my knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to those in need. With over nine years of management and leadership experience in acute inpatient behavioral health, I have a wealth of knowledge in providing patient-centered care across the lifespan and a thorough understanding of healthcare operations, procedures, regulations, insurance, and billing. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to improved patient outcomes and promote mental health wellness.
