I am a student-athlete at Yale University, where I am studying mechanical engineering with an interest in industrial design. I am extremely hardworking and passionate about learning, and am always trying to figure out how and why things work. I also love thinking of designs and solutions to existing problems and unmet needs.

The Lee Company Engineering Internship
The Lee Company / Westbrook, CT / June 2023 – August 2023
Testing and design of quality test stands for aluminum and steel Lee Plugs.

• Created a work instruction, P&ID diagram, and preformed leak tests on a new test stand that was able to test at increased pressures in order to check space application feasibilty for standard Lee Plugs.
• Designed and analyzed a new manifold for impulse testing plugs that would allow for tests at higher pressure and greater efficiency.
• Developed critical thinking skills while working with Solidworks CAD and analysis, and precision testing equipment.

ProjectLine TS Engineering Internship
ProjectLine TS Inc. / Costa Mesa, CA / June 2022 – August 2022
Assisted in research regarding a renewable energy source for Metabolic Studio’s Bending the River Back into the City (BRBC) Project.

• Researched and compiled a technical memorandum of the physics of photovoltaic solar panels, comparing the efficiencies of Silicon versus Cadmium Telluride panels for potential use in the BRBC Project.
• Researched and compiled a technical memorandum of the physics of Battery Energy Storage Systems for potential use in the BRBC Project.

Varsity Sailing Student-Athlete
Yale University / New Haven, CT / August 2020 – Current

• Competing on the Yale Varsity Sailing Team (Ranked 1st nationally and awarded top overall collegiate sailing team for 2021–22 season)
• Held various leadership roles, including being responsible for organizing logistics of team travel to and from practice, as well as logistics of allocating and purchasing food for travel events
• Developed time management, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
