Natalie Mangen

I am attending Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to pursue my degrees in Architecture.  In pursuing my degree, I want to learn as much as I can by studying abroad and interning with prominent architecture firms. I have been accepted into SCAD's Architectural Licensure (IPAL) Program which adds time to my studies, but, I can earn it in seven years; only adding three years to my studies.   As I learn, it will put me in a good position after I graduate. With this knowledge and experience, I can be one-step ahead of my peers, which will put me one more step towards my 10-year goals of graduating with a license and being a positive force in the work world. With the Licensure, I will be able to apply for bigger jobs and after 3 years on the job, I will be looking to expand my knowledge to explore more projects worldwide. 

Swimming Instructor May 2022- September 2022

• Maintained a clean and safe environment for swim participants.
•  Prepared teaching area for each class and returned all equipment to storage at the end of class. 
• Held daily classes to fit the needs of the child.

Park Attendant May 2021- October 2021

• Maintained customer satisfaction as well as employee relations. 
• Responsible for opening and closing of the Boathouse and managing the equipment. 
• Processed all orders and maintained the cash register.

Front Desk Attendant May 2020 – September 2020

• Able to sustain a smooth operating environment with high volume member pool. 
• Answer and screen incoming phone calls. Handled day-to-day member needs. 
• Maintained high customer satisfaction levels by going the extra mile to personalize service. 
• Processed cash register transactions daily.

I am a first year architecture student attending Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).   I anticipate my graduation in  June 2026. I currently have a 4.0 GPA.
