I am a Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon, where I direct the scientific, research, and operations strategy for the Alexa Prize SocialBot Challenge, a competition that aims to develop next-generation virtual assistants that can perform real-world tasks by continuously learning and reasoning. I have over 30 years of experience in leading legal and intellectual property research and developing neural networks and large language models to support intensive legal research tasks.

My education centers on AI and image understanding, with a PhD dissertation focusing on neural models for patent and trademark image comprehension. I am passionate computer vision, chatbots, large language models, and connecting with other professionals and researchers in this exciting field.
