About Melanie Honeycutt:

I have a BS in Business Management, a MA Teaching. I have been a teacher in Lompoc since 2004, starting at Cabrillo in 2016. I teach Entrepreneurial Economics, Microsoft Suite, Circuits with Arduinos, Cyber Security, Video Game Design, and Credit Recovery Classes.

I have worked in various fields including: 

Civil Service and Military Contractor (Bio-environmental and Environmental Engineering), Retail, Wholesale, and Automotive Sales. 

My family has close ties to the military.

I love to hike, travel the world, camp, attend concerts, and spend time with friends and family.

Approximately 10 years at Edwards AFB as an Administrative Assistant with DOD Civil Service and Contractor (CSC and GTE) positions. 

20+ years as a teacher in the Lompoc Schools specializing in IT/Computer programs/electronics and business instruction.

Bachelors Degree from University of Phoenix in Business Management
