ay Concern: I am an accomplished professional that has experienced success in a wide variety of positions and industries and am interested in a position in which I can use my skills, aptitude, and professional experiences. This past school year, I had an amazing year teaching 7th grade Language Arts and have been commended twice by the Director of Curriculum for outstanding test results. In addition to having 14 years' experience teaching 6th and 7th grade English as a Second Language (for newcomers), English Language Arts, and Social Studies classes, I had the opportunity to teach an English high school credit course during a summer session. Before working as an educator, I had a successful, 10-year run working as a retail store manager for Foot Locker, Inc. at Lady Foot Locker and Champs Sports. I earned awards such as Rookie Manager of the Year, among many others, and was featured in a corporate magazine for my success in inventory control. I managed retail stores, earning about 1.3 million in annual sales, and managing staffs of up to 30 employees. During my tenure, at times I achieved 100% weekly sales gains and 100% increases in profits over LY often ranking in the top 10 out of over 500 stores in the country.
