Maxwell Foshee

I am a driven and globally engaged recent graduate majoring in political science from DePaul University, graduating in June 2024. With diverse experiences spanning data analysis, electoral assistance, and community engagement, I excel in applying research and leadership skills to make meaningful contributions. My international exposure through study abroad programs in China, Taiwan, Ireland, and the United Kingdom further complements my commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

Maxwell Foshee has built a diverse portfolio of professional experiences, showcasing a strong ability to analyze data, coordinate events, and promote community engagement. As an Election Assistant with the Chicago Board of Elections, Maxwell ensured electoral accuracy, trained over 200 election judges, and fostered civic participation by collaborating with local agencies. During an internship with the Democratic National Convention, they conducted in-depth data analysis and prepared materials for high-profile events, directly supporting organizational decision-making. At the Chicago Chinese Cultural Institute, Maxwell developed advanced tracking tools to analyze community demographics, providing actionable insights to the City of Chicago Tourism Taskforce. Earlier in their career, as a Program Assistant at Indy Parks, Maxwell led inclusive recreational programs, initiated impactful service projects, and successfully collaborated with the mayor’s office to secure grant funding for food security initiatives.

Maxwell Foshee earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in June 2024. During his studies, Maxwell participated in study abroad programs in Ireland and the United Kingdom from February to March 2024, and in China and Taiwan from November to December 2024, gaining valuable international perspectives.
