I am a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience. Through my academic work, I graduated Summa cum Laude in my class. Since graduation, I have been working in clinical research in the hospital and biotechnology fields. I started working at world-class hospitals - Massachusetts General Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute - to shifting my focus into well-known biotech companies as a Clinical Research Associate responsible for multiple studies and sites.

September 2023 – Present

Clinical Research Associate

• Supported the execution and monitoring of early- and late-phase clinical trials focused on cell therapy treatments for chronic B cell-mediated rheumatological and neuroinflammatory autoimmune diseases.
• Oversaw 8+ investigational sites across the U.S., conducting site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits with a focus on compliance to ICH-GCP, FDA regulations and BMS protocols.
• Ensured proper handling, storage, and chain-of-identity/chain-of-custody procedures for autologous cell therapy products at clinical sites.
• Collaborated closely with cell therapy operations, logistics, and medical teams to coordinate time-sensitive apheresis and infusion procedures.
• Reviewed source documents and eCRFs for accuracy and protocol compliance; facilitated timely query resolution and data reconciliation.
• Participated in investigator meetings and site staff training, emphasizing the unique considerations of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) in autoimmune trials.

• Oversaw the clinical trial start-up process from receipt of protocols through the Scientific Review Committee and IRB submissions. I also completed all site activation requirements.
• Prepared and/or completed regulatory-related reports and IRB submissions. Maintained and organized study regulatory binders, and entered all required study data on an ongoing basis.
• Ensured all study related samples were collected, properly prepared and were shipped according to the protocol requirements and IATA/DOT regulations.
• Coordinated and managed the clinical trials; including communication with sponsors and regulatory authorities.
• Lead close-out of clinical trials; including contributing to research articles, audit preparation, and communication with regulatory agencies & other disciplines involved.

Massachusetts General Hospital; United Against Racism in Neurosurgery Project           

January 2022 – September 2023

Clinical Research Coordinator 

• Collaborated with neurosurgeons and administration to characterize the experience of Black and Hispanic patients seen at MGH Neurosurgery through a survey and follow-up calling using a blinded system.
• Performed statewide analysis utilizing CHIA data to ascertain the locations where Black and Hispanic patient’s vs all other race and ethnicity patients go for their neurosurgical care.
• Gathered relevant papers to support or compare our conclusions against.
• Drove towards clinical results as to whether Black and Hispanic patients experience disparate levels of access and care in MGH neurosurgery compared to all other hospitals in Massachusetts.
