fast-paced environments.
Experience
Over the past 6 years, I’ve built a strong foundation in quality engineering within the manufacturing sector, following 8 years of service as a Combat Engineer in the U.S. Army. That background taught me discipline, leadership, and how to perform under pressure — skills I’ve carried into every engineering role I’ve held. In my current position as a Senior Plant Quality Engineer at JAC Products, I led initiatives that reduced supplier defect rates by 45% and improved on-time delivery by 20% in just six months. I’m highly experienced in root cause analysis, using tools like 8D and 5 Whys to solve recurring issues, and I regularly work cross-functionally to implement corrective actions that stick. My efforts were recognized with a company award in 2024. Before that, at Bil-Jax, I worked as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where I conducted audits, resolved incoming quality issues, and helped drive supplier performance through better communication and corrective action tracking. And prior to that, I began as a Quality Inspector and quickly advanced to Technician at GB Manufacturing by proving my attention to detail, precision measurement skills (including CMM operation), and strong support in documentation and data analysis. My approach is built on a deep respect for standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and I always aim to not only meet expectations but find ways to improve the systems I’m part of.
Education
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from ECPI University in 2023 through their online program. The degree gave me a solid foundation in engineering principles, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and technical problem-solving. It strengthened my understanding of mechanical design, materials, and production methods, and it tied in well with the real-world quality and process improvement work I was already doing in the field. Completing the program online while working full-time also sharpened my time management and self-discipline—skills I bring to every project I take on.
