Maren Dunn

Hello! I'm Maren, a solution-oriented extrovert with a passion for engaging with diverse communities. A graduate of Tufts University with a B.A in International Relations, my academic focus was complemented by hands-on experience in marketing and event planning. At Tufts, I contributed to meaningful initiatives such as promoting J Street’s No Aid to Occupation campaign and facilitating dialogues among Jewish students on Israel/Palestine issues.

I have experience in a variety of roles with a range of organizations from a large nonprofit to the UN —that have equipped me with versatile skills. I thrive in collaborative environments, excel at multitasking, and am known for my quick adaptability. With a deep commitment to social justice, I'm eager to leverage my skills in roles where I can create tangible impact globally.

I am an International Relations student at Tufts University with experience across human rights research, international policy, and strategic communications. As an Oslo Scholar with the Human Rights Foundation, I published reporting on North Korean current events and nuclear policy while deepening my understanding of U.S.–North Korea diplomacy and collaborating with activists and policymakers at the Oslo Freedom Forum. At the United Nations, I conducted and presented a research project on the effectiveness of international development aid and worked alongside key stakeholders during the High-Level Political Forum. In parallel, I have developed strong analytical and communications skills through roles at Candid and McNeil, Gray & Rice, where I led research projects, analyzed marketing and PR data, and produced materials presented to senior leadership and clients. My nonprofit work with Food For Free strengthened my event coordination and digital marketing skills, contributing to increased engagement and the success of large-scale fundraising initiatives. Together, these experiences reflect my interest in diplomacy, research-driven policy work, and strategic communication within international and nonprofit settings.

I graduated in May 2025 Manga Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and a minor in French from Tufts University, a prestigious liberal arts school just outside of Boston, M.A.
