Lorenzo Franciosi

I am a senior at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and minors in Business Analytics and Spanish. I am actively seeking exciting opportunities correlating to my future degrees. I believe that the skills I have attained from my dynamic environment, work experience, and competitive university define me, and I look forward to implementing and polishing them in any opportunity I receive.

As a trilingual, international student living in Italy, Ireland, and the United States, I have gained a broader global perspective and been exposed to a diverse group of individuals. The constant change has made me able to quickly adapt and minimize ambiguity in new environments to ensure my success in whatever I may face. I am a critical thinker who loves challenges and collaboration within teams.

This summer I worked at Deloitte as a Finance Transformation Consulting Intern on project Horizon, an automated and standardized financial forecasting and planning cloud software. Stationed in the OCM (Organizational Change Management) team, I collaborated closely with individuals ranging from consultants to senior managers and FBPs (Finance Business Partners). I created various reports and presentations encompassing Horizon ranging from interactive training journeys for senior managers, to informative revenue model performance dashboard slide decks for FBPs. In addition, I automated and improved how we analyzed training and communications using Power Query in Excel and multiple Kanban and had the pleasure of attending Horizon training for our Advisory practice in the Chicago office, collaborating with trainers, managers, and FBPs to improve the efficiency of the software.

Last summer I worked at Mettler Toledo as a Global Key Account Manager (Data Intern). My role consisted of client data analysis using Access and Excel, Senior Management service business reporting through SAP, and collaborating with other business segments. On campus, I have participated in a client challenge with KeyBank and a case competition with Procter & Gamble.

I am a senior at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and minors in Business Analytics and Spanish.

On campus, I am the Treasurer of the Miami Management and Leadership Business Organization, and was also an Undergraduate Assistant for ESP 103, a required first-year business creativity class. In addition, I am on the Recruitment Committee and the New Member Education Committee at Beta Theta Pi, a social fraternity and the Alpha chapter here at Miami University with the highest GPA on campus.
