Leah Morton

I am currently a nursing student at the University of South Florida, where I am passionate about healthcare and providing compassionate care to others. I've been a lifeguard for the City of Boca Raton for 3 years, which has enhanced my skills in customer service and emergency response. Additionally, I've been a soccer referee for 5 years, where I've learned to manage conflict and make quick, fair decisions under pressure. Theses roles have taught me valuable communication and leadership skills. Outside of work and school, I enjoy staying active, by working out, playing soccer, and playing pickleball. My experiences have shaped me into a dedicated, hardworking individual who is always striving to grow. 

I have three years of experience as a lifeguard for the City of Boca Raton, where I’ve developed strong skills in safety management, emergency response, and customer service. In addition, I have been a soccer referee for five years, officiating games for both the City of Coral Springs and the City of Parkland. These roles have honed my abilities in conflict resolution, decision-making, and communication under pressure. My lifeguarding experience has sharpened my attention to detail and focus on safety, while my refereeing work has strengthened my leadership and fairness in competitive environments. Both positions have taught me how to provide excellent customer service while managing complex situations.

I am currently an undergraduate nursing student at the University of South Florida.
