Experience
This job entails a range of responsibilities centered around ensuring accuracy, effective communication, and continuous improvement in medical service operations and prospective student management. Key tasks include researching failed measures for accuracy, tracking trends, and keeping relevant departments and management informed. The role also involves developing and maintaining educational tools, training staff on abstraction procedures, and resolving chart-related issues, fostering consistent information sharing and training for staff involved in core measures and abstraction.
A significant part of the job includes facilitating communication between hospital staff, including physicians and department managers, and providing updates on critical measures. The role also supports the creation, management, and revision of medical forms and orders, ensuring the use of the most current versions and coordinating with various departments to maintain and update necessary resources. This requires collaboration with staff for ongoing communication, design tasks, and addressing gray-area abstraction questions alongside senior administration.
The job further encompasses student outreach management, acting as the main liaison for prospective students following initial outreach. This includes guiding potential students to appropriate university resources, documenting interactions in systems like Salesforce, and briefing team members on emerging trends and insights. Regular updates, drafting correspondence, and performing various supportive tasks as directed are integral to ensuring seamless communication and support for prospective students.
