  • Communicating with counsel in EMEA countries to ensure that all work done in those countries complies with local laws; 
  • Coordinating the formation and dissolution of domestic and foreign business entities; 
  • Drafting Intercompany Agreements including Product Purchase Agreements, Corporate Service Agreements and Licensing and Sales Agreements;

  • Ensuring many domestic and foreign deadlines are attended to by researching foreign intellectual property laws and communicating with foreign counsel; and
  • Paying annuities for all domestic and foreign patents handled by the firm.

Legal Aid Society - Intake Paralegal                                                                 2009 to 2010

  • Conducting and dictating interviews with potential clients seeking Protective Orders or Civil Stalking Injunctions;
  • Relaying important information from interview to supervising attorney; 
  • Preparing documents such as Requests for Protective Orders, Temporary Protective Orders, Protective Orders and Civil Stalking Injunctions; 
  • Arranging for the service of documents to opposing parties through the Salt Lake County Sherriff’s Department; and
  • Assisting in Court during client hearings.
