Katia Flores

I am currently a full-time student at the University of Texas at Austin expecting to graduate May 2023 with a bachelors degree in Corporate Communications and a Business Administration minor. I am also a part-time risk operations agent at a tech startup, so I have learned first hand the importance of onboarding and collaboration with team members. Though my work experience is limited, I have taken leadership roles in student organizations that have taught me about the importance of accountability and responsibility. 

I am currently a risk operations agent for MAJORITY. This role entails many different responsibilities, one of which is to provide risk expertise to internal departments, third-party partners, and the sales organization. I have collaborated with different departments within the organization to achieve a common goal: help users with their experience. 

I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin, completing my education this May with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Corporate Communications with a Business Minor. At the core of my studies has been ethics and being a good person, which I strongly value.Throughout my four years, I have earned University Honors and have been a Moody College of Communications Dean’s List Honoree for 3 semesters.
