EXPERIENCE:

Police Officer 1/Telecommunicator

  • Observed for violations of traffic laws, suspicious activities, or disturbances.  Interviewed victims and witnesses to obtain information regarding crime, accident, crimes, collected evidence, conducted searches, and investigated traffic crashes.
  • Responded to radio dispatch and answered calls and complaints.
  • Received emergency calls, determined location and nature of emergency and dispatched personnel. 
  • Answered incoming telephones through administrative and emergency phone lines. 
  • Entered the call into the computer system and dispatched personnel.

Aircraft Mechanic, Active Duty, United States Navy, April 2013- Present

  • Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 37 MH-60F/H/S aircraft and related support equipment.  Completed over 1,636 maintenance actions and over 225 special inspections. 
  • Contributed to the upkeep of over 530 electronic training jackets.  Assigned 188 initial command qualifications.  Scheduled classes for 82 maintenance personnel.  Provided Advanced Skills Management documentation training for 5 work centers.
  • Responsible for security of flight line and aircraft after hours and on weekends. 

Intern for Americorps and USU, May 2011-September 2011

  • Responsible for improving school readiness for economically disadvantaged young children.  
  • Improve educational and behavioral outcomes of students in low achieving elementary, middle, and high schools.  
  • Adapted the preparation and prospects of success in post-secondary education institutions for economically disadvantaged students.
