About Jaylene Dewey:

I am a senior-level college student working on completing a BS in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Physician Associate from Grand Canyon University. The accessibility of healthcare is a subject I am very passionate about, as proper connections to health services are essential to mental and physical well-being. From my work as a family patient care volunteer at Phoenix Children's, I have found a love for pediatrics and emergency medicine. As a volunteer on the oncology floor, I have been able to see firsthand how much communication between health care providers, patients, and families affects the experience of the individual in need. After completing my undergraduate degree, I will be working on obtaining a Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies (MSPAS) in order to fulfill my goal of becoming an emergency room PA.
