Experience

In the role of Makerspace Technology Assistant at the University of Washington from 2022 to 2023, I maintained various maker technologies such as 3D printers and Raspberry Pi kits, mentored students on their use, conducted equipment maintenance and staff training, ensured Makerspace safety, provided tech support, and assisted with computer workstation maintenance. I also supported resource access, room reservations, and laptop circulation, participated in web design and tech-related tasks, collaborated with the Library IT team, and had responsibilities related to project proposals and project feasibility evaluation.

As a Library Technology Support Specialist at the same university from 2021 to 2023, my responsibilities included providing technical assistance to library patrons, managing user access control through Active Directory resources, creating process documentation to enhance support efficiency, maintaining computer workstations, offering in-person and remote support, overseeing laptop checkouts, and collaborating on web development projects. I also demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity and anti-oppression practices, possessed proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, had familiarity with web development technologies, and supported a tech-rich environment for students and faculty. Additionally, I facilitated scanning and adaptive tech workstations and managed equipment checkouts via the library's system.
