YMCA Camp Orkila, Environmental Educator / Program Director (2025)

As Educator: created and instructed ecology and arts curriculum for students age 9-13, exploring a breadth of environmental subjects through tactile exploration and a variety of visual media. As Program Director: coordinated and facilitated summer leadership programming for high school students. Responsibilities included both big-picture curriculum development and working directly with the participants as a supervisor and mentor.

Maud Morgan Arts, Art Instructor (2024 - 2025)

Instructor of handbuilding, wheel throwing, and mixed media courses for elementary, middle, and adult students. Duties include: designing curriculum, instructing courses, purchasing and preparing materials, loading and running kiln firings, preparing example projects, cleaning and maintaining studio spaces, and general classroom and behavior management.

Iris Hazelton Tattoo, Owner and Lead Artist (2021 - Present)

Licensed handpoke and machine tattooer specializing in natural semi-realism. Running the business involves: designing and executing tattoos, social media management, booking clients, fielding questions and requests,, maintaining a safe and sanitary tattoo practice, creating a comfortable environment for clients, inventorying and ordering supplies, and assisting with cooperative studio tasks (scheduling guests, cleaning and upkeep, monthly studio meetings, etc.)

Scripps College Ceramics Department, Assistant Studio Technician (2021 - 2022)

Two semesters work loading, unloading, and firing electric and gas kilns, handling and sorting greenware and bisqueware, grinding and washing kiln furniture, preparing B-mix clay in a Soldner clay mixer, pugging clay, mixing glazes in bulk from scratch, washing tools, floors, and counters, hauling studio supplies and materials, building plaster molds (up to four-part), and working directly with students on creative and technical challenges.

Pitzer College Art Department, Teaching Assistant (2019 - 2022)

Four semesters experience assisting in both Mixed Media Sculpture and Ceramics classes. Duties included ordering supplies, preparing materials, giving technical demonstrations, cleaning and preparing studio spaces, supervising open studio hours, running kiln firings, and troubleshooting / brainstorming with individual students.

Craigardan, Studio Intern (2018)

One semester work at the Craigardan Ceramics Artist Residency Program, assisting in studio operations. Duties included facilitating for resident artists by mixing and wedging clay, preparing glazes, loading and unloading kilns, supply pick-ups, studio organization and cleaning, and assisting in monthly community wood kiln firings.
